By accessing and using the website **millajepr.com** (hereinafter, "the Service", "the Application", or "Mileage Calculator"), you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our tool.

1. Nature of the Service and Disclaimer

Mileage Calculator is a convenience tool designed to facilitate the estimation of travel expense reimbursements, using the Official Distance Table of the Highway and Transportation Authority (ACT) of Puerto Rico and standard IRS and/or Department of Hacienda rates as a reference.

Important Warning: The Service does not constitute legal, tax, or accounting advice. We are not Certified Public Accountants (CPA) nor representatives of the Department of Hacienda or the IRS. You assume full responsibility for verifying the accuracy of any calculation before submitting it in corporate expense reports, income tax returns (Form 482), or audits.

2. Accuracy of Information (As-Is Service)

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Although we strive to keep ACT distances and annual rates updated, we do not guarantee that the information is free from errors, omissions, or discrepancies due to legislative changes, Hacienda circular letters, or route updates in the country.

Mileage PR and its developers will not be liable for financial losses, failed audits, tax penalties, or direct and indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use this application.

3. Intellectual Property

All user interface, design, software logic, and source code comprising the Service are the exclusive property of the creators of millajepr.com and are protected by copyright laws. It is strictly prohibited to copy, scrape, or reverse engineer the application's code or database; reproduce our interface for commercial purposes without express authorization; or automate queries to our database using unauthorized bots or scripts.

Note: We recognize that raw distance data between municipalities is public information from the Government of Puerto Rico, which we do not claim as our own; our copyright rests on the implementation, formatting, and the software that processes it.

4. Privacy and Data Storage

Currently, the "Recent History" is stored locally in your web browser (Local Storage) for your convenience. We do not collect, transmit, or store your trip history or personal identifiable data on our servers, unless you volunteer for a future subscription service (Pro) that requires account creation.

5. Applicable Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, without giving effect to any conflict of law provisions. Any legal dispute arising in relation to this Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Puerto Rico.

6. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
